Mr. Harris has been a Member of the Firm since 2000. Mr. Harris' practice focuses on the defense of catastrophic claim as well as professional malpractice matters, claims involving employment related practices and alleged violations of federal and state discrimination laws. In addition, his litigation work includes the defense of product liability claims and construction defect claims. He also works as counsel on contract related matters for corporate clients and provided counsel relative to the drafting and implementation of corporate policies and practices. Mr. Harris has tried jury cases to conclusion in both New Jersey and New York courts and been admitted pro hac vice as lead counsel in matters pending the the federal courts including work in Ohio and Florida. Mr. Harris has appellate experience in both state and federal courts.

Mr. Harris is a member of the American Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association, New York Bar Association, the Essex County Bar Association, the Arthur T. Vanderbilt Chapter of the American Inns of Court, the Professional Liability Underwriting Society and the Harmonie Group, a national association of civil defense attorneys. In addition, Mr. Harris has been included in the roster of Super Lawyers for 2010, 2011 and 2012, a designation reserved for attorneys with a high degree of peer recognition and professional accomplishment. Mr. Harris has lectured and conducted seminars relating to issues of significance to insurance companies, self-insureds and corporate audiences. He has drafted employment policies and various other corporate governance related issues. Mr. Harris has appeared on local television providing commentary on newsworthy legal matters.
